Well, that was a long week!

Well, we survived the first week back at school and work after Christmas, but 2021 is shaping up to be as unexpected as 2020....Leaving the C word and politics aside...

I have started in earnest with Noom to lose weight by mid year - have been batch making soups, logging my food and have even been for a run and or walk and or yoga each day! Long may this last...

I've also caught up with some blogs, resolutions and advent . I want to blog at least weekly.... I always feel better when I get my thoughts down on "paper".

I've struggled with trying to migrate my data from old laptop to new... I hate ONEDRIVE with a passion. Have no upgrade to 2TB on Google drive and am backing up that way. My old laptop is making alarming noises, hope it survives until the Google backup is complete!

And finally my siblings and I are now full into finding care home for my parents. My Dad has finally come round. My Mum has dementia and deterioriate rapidly last year. It's been so painful and I will be writing more soon on this. Onwards and upwards. Love has many forms, I think this phase is one of them....

Walk with Markus today the crisp, cold but beautiful winter sunshine...
