Review of Books Read 2019

100 books read - Yay, finally got my goal! Again, I read 2 novels in German (Mein Name ist Eugen: Klaus Schädelin & Wolkenbruchs wunderliche Reise in die Arme einer Schickse: Thomas Meyer)

Again, a tough year professionally and personally and again I did a lot of comfort reading and re-reading of old favourites, particularly Maeve Binchy (5 books) and Marian Keyes (7 books)

It was a difficult year for me personally and professionally and I did a lot of comfort reading / re-reading of old favourites, but also a lot of non-fiction reading about how to survive / thrive / be healthier. A good reading year!

Best Book (Fiction): When All is Said: Anne Griffin</font>

Best Book (Non-Fiction): When Nieztsche Wept: Irvin D. Yalom & How People Learn: Nick Shackleton-Jones</font>

Best Chicklit: The Memory Book: Rowan Coleman

Book which made me change/gave me most food for thought: How to Own the Room: Viv Groskop & Quiet: Susan Cain</font>

Best Old Favourite: Good Omens: Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett & Rachel's Holiday: Marian Keyes

Author Discovery: How to make a girl: Caitlin Moran</font>

Worst Read:  Didn't have one, they were all 3 stars or up!
