Christmas Eve

So the week run up to Christmas eve has been manic. 2 trips to IKEA (one to choose sofa with boys, the second to pick up the bunkbeds and furniture), sorting out kindergarten, clearing cellar, rearranging boys room, finishing work etc.

Today has been sort of busy, but also relaxing! Finished clearing, cleaning and decorating the flat. Plus some mince-pie making and generally food preparation!

Boys wrapped their present for Alan and then later on I hid in the washing cellar downstairs to do all the present wrapping - it did take a while! There was also a fair amount of loafing on the sofa, in our matching onesies, with christmas socks on. The onesies were SO COMFY! I fear we may wear them all holiday long :-)

The ISS (International Space Station) didn't fly overhead this year, so we went for a walk in the old town, checked out the christmas tree at Paradeplatz and generally tried to tire the kids out :-)

And then it was back home to hang stockings on the new beds, get the treats ready for Father Christmas and Rudolph, and then finally relax!
