What no one tells you about parenthood...

Jigsaws, games with pieces, dvd sets - they all eventually lose one part of themselves. And then you wonder how long to hold onto the incomplete jigsaw, game etc, in the hope that the lost piece will magically turn up.

And of course, as soon as you give up home and get rid of the offending incomplete thing, the missing bit turns up.

However, this story has a happy ending. We have a 3 "Movie" set about Bob the builder. And Markus' favourite film of the tree (about Gripper and Grapper, 2 liverpudlian machines, don't ask!) got lost. It turned up today when I finally did a proper clean of the front room and moved the tv cabinet to clean under it.

Is it sad that I am so ridiculously excited that this lost DVD has been found?
