My wishes for you

Dear Bump

What do I wish for you? Everything and more.

I wish you a long and healthy life, full of laughter and tears and hugs and kisses. I wish you a wonderful, long, healthy and challenging relationship with your brother Markus - I wish that the two of you will be a united team against the world, and when you hit puberty and early adulthood, against us parents!

I wish you a sense of curiousity and learning. I want you to care about the important things in life, to make your own decisions about what you believe and to be able to laugh at the absurd, ridiculous and stupid things in life. I want you to not take things too seriously.

I hope that you learn who you are and what you need in life, even if this takes you a while. I am still learning and I am old enough to know better! I hope that you find the right people in your life to love you for who you are, but who challenge you to always be more.

I can't wait to meet you and to bring you into our family. I wish you and me a peaceful, safe birth. I can't wait to look after you and to love you all your life. See you on the other side, sleep well!

lots of love

your mum-to-be
