The value of the present

"The passing moment is all we can be sure of; it is only common sense to extract its utmost value from it; the future will one day be the present and will seem as unimportant as the present does now."
W. Somerset Maugham

Wise thoughts indeed for a Sunday evening. Have had a weekend of decluttering and general panic about baby no.2. I don't feel very organised or together. I am fed up of work. I am tired the whole time, ache all over and generally feel a bit bleurgh. Sill have 4 weeks of work to go and possibly 8 weeks until birth.

But the quote reminds me that life must be lived in the present, so I will do a few more tasks and then get myself off to bed for an early night - life will seem brighter in the morning I am sure :-)
