I found this little message from my sister Kate on my kitchen whiteboard today - I am at one with the puke and poo!
Having a baby seems to have brought out our infantile side with respect to bodily functions. We laugh when he farts, poops, hiccups or sneezes.
Last night as i was feeding my boy, I could simultaneously hear him gulping milk, his digestive system gurgling away and his bottom end exploding :-)
My hormones seem to have settled down, my crying for no reason has thankfully stopped! As the whiteboard says, Life Is Good!

But it's just something you have to deal with. Life goes on - you're just more acquainted with the under-the-bonnet bits than you are used to.
Sweet memories of holding a tiny person in my arms and wondering about the connection. Now my son is growing a moustache and making a fair job of it, despite the pointed if not barbered comments of his sister.
Hang on to these days. You'll remember them with pleasure in years to come when you badger your son about grandchildren.
