The first time I felt you move ...

Dear Bump

The first time I felt you move I was in Poland for work. I was there for 2 weeks and had been a bit worried about whether you it was going to be too much for us. I had a bit of a stressful first couple of days. And then exactly on cue, at 20 weeks, halfway through our pregnancy, I felt you move.

I was in bed and I felt a pop, deep inside me, on my right hand side. Then it happened again. And I realised it was you! I was so thrilled and the next day I rang your Dad to tell him. After that, you gradually made me more and more aware of your presence inside me. And this was one of the nicest things about the pregnancy.

lots of love
your mum-to-be xxx
