I’ve made a few decisions about how to direct my life over the next few months. And I think it boils down to some simple decisions and getting a routine together:
- Eat sensibly, drink less wine and lose weight gradually
- Go for a longish walk each day, up the Uetliberg for example
- Get back into my routine of working in the library each day, and focus on putting the hours in so that I can get my literature review finished and then finishing editing the thesis.
- Have two quiet 5 minutes a day where I write my thoughts down and monitor how I’m doing and feeling
I’m also pretty pleased with myself, as I’ve written a first draft of my cv and covering letter in German, and am starting out on the long journey of finding the right job! Our TV is currently not working and I think this may have a big impact on me getting a few more things done!
