Our pwg meeting tonight was fantastic. We had the highest numbers every - 58 participants, may of which were first-timers.

The topic was cultural understanding, which is always relevant. Margaret Oertig Davidson, of Contexts, author of Beyond Chocolate (one of my favourite books) talked about Switzerland and cultural considerations for expats. She was brilliant - just the right balance of stories, theories and information. And of course this generated many interesting dinner conversations.

Evenings like this make all the extra hours of work worth it. I realised tonight that I had lots of friend and potential friends within pwg. We the Executive Committee have really managed to create a community and our own culture :-)
