I really didn't want to run today, because it's time of the month, but I did and I'm really pleased. The pain disappeared during the run, but then unfortunately came back as soon as I stopped. But it was a good run, I pushed myself and came back with an okay time. My colleague reckons the trick to getting faster is to run slower - do long runs at 50 - 60% of my maximum heart rate. I'm not completely convinced, it has to be said :-) I can't wait until I get my nike gadget, so that I can really see how I'm doing!
