Running a long, long way | 1:18

Wow, our longest run ever - thanks katcolorado - route planner and pace setter extrodinaire! :-)

It was such a beautiful evening, the light was golden and the Limmat river path to Kloster Fahr was just wonderful. Thanks to Kat's funky gadget, here are the statistics: our slowest kilometre was at the halfway point and was 6.55 minutes and our quickest was 5.47 for the last kilometre! Running faster really helped, it was hard work but my legs felt really stretched and good. We were a bit puffed by the time we got back to the car....

I can't believe our progress - we can run for an hour and 20 minutes without stopping and we can run fast, and we still have enough breath (just) to gossip and discuss the other runners. We have to do another long run next week....
