2013 The Year in Pictures

16.12.2013: We have had a lovely, but busy 2013! Alan has been busy with his MBA studies and I am doing 40 personal challenges in this significant year! Markus and Patrick are at a great age and play well together most of the time! They love "reading books" and are fascinated by our iphones / tablets / laptops. We have had lots of visitors and have been on several trips, including a weekend on a farm in the black forest and a week in Vienna in the autumn. The year ended with advent & christmas visits from my family.

Livejournal Review of 2013

It's quite simple: the first sentence of the first entry for each month in 2012 :-)
Here's what my livejournal world looked like - Less Markus and Patrick focussed this year in comparison to last.

Jan:
A day and night away in the mountains with friend J - clear mountain air, fresh walk, fondue, gossip, reading - what could be better!

Feb:
I lost 1 kg over the month - my weight went up and down, up and down!

Mar: This last week has been a bit of a blur.

Apr: I have the day off today and am getting ready to go away for the weekend ALL BY MYSELF!

May: Two new user pics, based on my recent weekend in London!

Jun: Highlight of week was perfect weekend with S&M in Sheffield and Peak District.

Jul: The proper, wise balancing of one's whole life may depend upon the feasibility of a cup of tea at an unusual hour. Taken from "How to live on 24 hours a day" by
Arnold Bennett

Aug: We had a lovely long August weekend with Jenn and Drew.

Sep; This summer has sped past with visitors to Zurich and mr.ncot studying for his MBA and changing job.

Oct: My day at TEDxZurich 2013 on October 2nd 2013 was just wonderful and inspiring!

Nov: Nanowrimo is not about writing the perfect novel, or even a good story.

Dec: I have just heard the wonderful Elizabeth Gilbert speak at the Literaturhaus, Zürich about her new novel "the signature of all things".
