Resolutions Update - January

Resolution Update January
This has been a strange month, it was a struggle to get back into the routine at work and I have had a few bouts of not feeling well. I have blogged or posted photos about 50% this month, but felt that something had to give. Here's to a more energy full February!

Maintain food diary on fitbug
Hmm, this hasn't really happened and my subscription has now run out. I need to renew it, or find some other way of logging food. In any case, I have been eating quite healthily for the main part!

Achieve my fitbug steps per day
I can't check at the moment, since my subscription has run out. But I was doing fairly well, hitting my targets 60% of the time or so.

Practice yoga once a week
Haven't yet got back to a studio, although I have found one midway between work and home. Will wait to feel well again and then start slowly.

Care for my relationships - reach out to two friends a month
Yes, I have certainly managed this!
- Lots of emails with Cheryl
- Emailed Pat and start of month and am now back in touch again
- Facebook chats with Jenn, Jessica
- Emailed Suzy Sumner
- Post to Susan Moore

Overall?
I've done okay, but will see what I can improve in February. Perhaps I will finally break the yoga deadlock? :-)

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good

January seems to have seen a down turn in my blogging and snapshots, I am not sure where this month has good, but I did make a decision fairly early on, that this year I would not be blogging or posting my snapshots on flickr every day.

This month I have managed 24 posts on 15 days, which is 50% or more, whichever way you look at it. And as one of my commandments says:
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good

Perfectionist Palmer is beginning to learn that a consistent something is better than the all or nothing game she normally plays.

I have been reading my friends posts and trying to comment, but January has been a strange old month, for a variety of reasons. I am looking forward to February, even though I realised today that posting my Mum's birthday card today will not make it magically arrive in the UK on Monday morning on her big day. Hum. Methinks a phone call will be in order :-)
