Learning to sell myself

This quote is particularly fitting for the "Verkaufsmodul Training" I attended last week. The training is 4 days long, one day per month between now and December. The emphasis is on how to sell oneself and how to present oneself effectively.

One of the trainer's main themes was how to motivate oneself. We tend to live in state of looking forward. I'm happy because I'm looking forward to my holiday. I'll be happy once I've lost weight. etc etc. Our homework is to consciously think twice a day "Why am I happy right now?" And I have to say it is suprisingly difficult :-)

But right now I am happy because I can see the cs sheep from my window and I have a few minutes thinking and writing time.

I find it unbelievable that these two quotes come from the 18th Century, but have such relevance for today!
