The completed Christmas Cake!

Christmas Eve was busy! I went to the Farmer's market in Oerlikon first thing to get my seasonal veg. Alan then took the family to the Christmas market whilst I escaped for my walk up the mountain to get some fresh air and chill out! Mum and I marzipaned, iced and then decorated the Christmas cake - we cut up the coloured jelly fruit to make the swiss flag and christmas trees!

We had fondue in the evening which went down a treat, even though the living room smelt cheesy for quite a few hours afterwards. I finally wrapped all my pressies late last night and planned the cooking for today. I'm now halfway through doing my roast lamb and the kitchen smells gorgeous.
