Friday night at Parterre

Well, we finally made it to the new bar which is just round the corner from us. It’s called Parterre and it’s great, very cool! Far too trendy for us I’m sure :-)
So we had a few drinks there on Friday evening in gorgeous summer evening weather. We sat outside and watched the world go by on the Birmensdorferstrasse! Hoping this might become a regular haunt for us :-)

Fete de la Musique

We went to a music festival in Zurich Kreis 6. A street had been shut and there was a stage, trestle tables and food and drink to buy. Went there with Mehdi, my iranian bookgroup friend and a french friend of his. The french and persian music was ok, but the atmosphere was great! A lovely warm evening, a few beers, the smell of barbeque - just perfect. A nice community feel...
