I did my usual route. It's still so snowy underfoot, particuarly in areas where there are less pedestrians. The Rietberg and Bellerive Parks were just wonderful and white. I ran for 4 minutes before walking for a minute. My new snowchains worked really well, although I was overall still a bit slower because of the snowy conditions.
I felt really good though. My legs didn't protest at running again after a month !! Zurich is just so beautiful, particularly in the snow. The air was really clear over the lake and I could see the snow capped mountains in the distance. I love the fact that I can be in the middle of Zurich and the lake in 15 minutes :-) 15 minutes running in London would just take me to the other end of grey, pavemented Golders Green!
