Resolutions for 2006 (yes, I know I'm 4 days late!)

I'm desperately catching up with about a week's worth of posts, so be prepared for a flurry from me today and tomorrow, including ones about Christmas, igloos, New Year etc :-)

My resolution routine each year is to review the past year and write some aims and plans for the coming year. It's always fun to then compare the two at the end of the year. I like doing it between Christmas and the New Year, particularly around our wedding anniversary! I wrote these lists up yesterday in my real journal (sorry, not for sharing!) but it was good to see what I'd achieved in 2005, all the good things, and what's ahead for me in 2006!

I then make some specific resolutions:

* Get up with Mr nice-cup-of-tea each day and have breakfast together
* Exercise each day (or take a planned rest for that day!)
* Do an hour of dissertation work before turning the laptop on
* Get dressed before turning laptop on

So, I'm pleased to say that today I've achieved resolutions 1, 3 and 4 and am about to go and do no.2!
